Michigan!

For the past couple of years we have talked about taking a trip to see Shawna's family in Michigan. (His Dad's side of the family) Well, we finally made it up there! We had not seen his grandmother since our wedding day a little over 6 years ago...and she had never gotten to see the girls.

This was also the girl's first airplane ride! They did GREAT! We weren't sure how that would go, but we could not have asked them to be any better.

Once we arrive in Grand Rapids, Michigan we headed to see Shawna's "Grandparents" the Bakers'. We had not seen them in about 4.5 years at Leah's wedding when I was pregnant with Rylynne. It was so good to see them! The girls had a blast feeding the fish in the little pond behind their home.

We then headed up to Big Rapids that evening to Shawna's Uncle Mark's house. Grandmother Scharlow was so glad to see us and we were so excited to see her! At Uncle Mark & Aunt Naoma's the girls played in the paddle boat, fished, played with their dogs (especially George!), and we visited with the family!

At Lake Michigan! The girls had SO much fun at the beach. The water was freezing but they had so much fun splashing and playing in the sand. (Sydney of course fell in a couple of times)

Baby Scharlow #3 - Finally a Name!

We are expecting baby number 3...A BOY! We are all so excited. Rylynne hugs, kisses, & tickles my stomach all the time and loves to remind me of all the baby things we need. Sydney hugs, kisses, & tickles my stomach too but is usually quick to remind me that she is a baby too. When we found out we were pregnant names were one of the first things I started thinking about. We actually knew pretty quick that if it was a girl she would be Macy Kathleen.....but if the baby was a boy we had a list! So when we found out that the baby was indeed a boy we started trying to narrow down the list but really kept adding to it!

Corbin...Cody....Wyatt....Levi....Brady...Drake...just to name a few of the 15! I'm sure I was about to drive Shawna crazy because I wanted a name! I ended up typing up a list so that we strike through names that just didn't "fit". We both wanted a southern kinda name. There was only one name that Shawna had actually thought of on his own. The more we looked at the list, the more that name started to stand out.

Baby #3 will be Wyatt Lee Scharlow! Lee is Shawna's middle name. We didn't notice until recently that Rylynne, Sydney, and now Wyatt all have a "Y" as the second letter. So no, that was not planned!

I am now 25 weeks! This pregnancy is flying by!
