Little Sydney...now 7 Months!

Sydney is now 7 months old! This is probably my favorite baby age. She smiles all the time, laughs, reaches for everything, grabs my face to kiss me, squeals alot, loves sitting up and playing, and has 2 little teeth that shine when she smiles! She went to the doctor this week and is now 20lbs!

We are trying to not get too excited, but we are now at almost 3 weeks getting her off Nutramagin and onto a Soy Formula! Today is her first day completely on Soy! Why is this too good to be true? Well 12.6oz of Nutramagin costs $23. That last about 3 days 25.7oz of the Soy is $22 and it will last about a week! She seems to be doing great so far! Hopefully we are on the downhill side now of her stomach issues!

Watching Rylynne Grow

I can't believe Rylynne is 2! She is turning into a little girl now. She has started loosing that "baby look." She is very independent, loves music, wants to stay outside all day, isn't too big on getting dirty, likes to laugh and make us laugh, and is always on the go!

We are finally starting to understand her language, haha. It's amazing the progress she has made just in the last few weeks as she has started putting words together. She LOVES to help! I try to find little things she can do and she just loves it.

She went for her 2 year check-up this week. She is now 33lbs which puts her in the 97% for her age, but she is in the 98% for her height. She just big for her age all the way around.

Here is a look back over the past 2 years....

2 Years Old!

Oink, Moo, Cock-a-doodle-doo! Rylynne is 2!

Oink, Moo, Cock-a-Doodle-Doo! Our little Rylynne is 2! We celebrated on her Birthday, March 26 with a Barnyard theme party at my parent's house. My dad farms, so the setting was perfect! She was so excited! We had a blow-up slide, hayride, and pinata!

For lunch we had pizza and a table complete with her favorite foods...McDonalds Chicken Nuggets, Goldfish, Go-gurt, apples, carrots, and cookies! To top it off, there was a barn birthday cake made my Grandma!

Rylynne's favorite thing about the party was the slide. She didn't even want to open presents! She just wanted to slide! By the end of the party she was exhausted! She tried taking a nap on the slide, but she decided she wanted to go to her big girl bed in Grandma's house. She was out about 5 minutes after laying down.

The cutest barn cake made by Grandma!!!

Pawpaw trying to help convenience Rylynne to open presents! haha Who has ever heard of child not wanting to open presents?

Sydney slept for most of the party. She woke up in time for gifts! This is when Rylynne decided she was ready for a nap! (And I know you are wondering why there is a mattress on the slide. We borrowed the slide from our neighbor and it's meant to be a water slide. It was too cold for water so he suggested putting a mattress on the bottom because it goes straight to the ground otherwise. A little redneck, yes...but it worked perfectly!) Sydney got a present too! She was more into opening hers than Rylynne was, haha. "Aunt" JenJen & Rylynne

Rylynne's "Aunt" Amy & "Aunt" Rachel having fun on the slide!

The Hay Ride! Papa took us all on a hayride. The kids got really excited when got to see the cows close up!

We were waiting on the weather to get a little better before giving Rylynne her gift from us. But, it's been cold and rainy all week so Shawna decided to set it up in the garage for now!
