First Day of "School"

This morning Rylynne started the Mom's Day Out program at our church. It's just on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-12:30. She loves playing with other kids, so we knew she would really enjoy it. She went right into her class without even thinking. They said she did great!

Isn't this mine???

I started getting some of the baby things out this week for Sydney. When I got the bouncy seat out, it took Rylynne about 2 minutes to climb in and have a seat! It's hard to believe she was in the seat just a year ago! Time sure goes fast! Speaking of going fast, we are now less than 2 weeks away from my due date!

Getting Ready for Sydney!

The room is just about done! I have ordered a couple of things for the wall that will not be here in time, but other than that we are ready! We used the same bedding that Nana (Shawna's Mom) made for Rylynne. Grandma (my mom) made a valance for the window to match. We are now less than 3 weeks away from the due date! Let the count down begin!

Never Turn Your Back on a 1 Year Old!

This morning I was trying to do a little cleaning. I was running the vacuum in the living room. Rylynne was in there at first "helping", but then went to her room. I went to check on her at one point and this is what I found.....Her in Minnie's lap reading a book!

Just a few minutes later I checked on her again and she was not in her room. This is what I found this time......And just to think Sydney will be here in a few weeks. My life is about to get really busy!!!!

First Carousal Ride!

While in St Augustine, Shawna, Rylynne, and I went out to eat one night just us. On our way back to the condo we pasted by a playground and a carousal. We decided to stop and let Rylynne play some and to take her on her first carousal ride. As you can see from the pictures she started out sitting on the horse, but ended up in Shawna's arms! She never cried. She just wasn't too sure what to think. Oh well, you never know till you try!

Going down the tunnel slide with Daddy!

Before the ride started she sat on the horse!

But after a couple of times around....she was ready to be held!
