4 Months Old!!!

Sydney is now 4 months old!!! She is 17.3 lbs & 25.5 inches! At 4 months Rylynne was 17.7 lbs & 25.75 inches. Isn't that crazy!?! Only a 4 ounce difference in weight & .25 inch difference in the height.
Sydney smiles all the time! All you have to do is look at her and she gives you her biggest smile. She loves laughing & cooing. It's funny, she laughs the most at Rylynne! She is rolling over from her back to stomach too! She is always kicking those legs. She just can't wait to get on the floor and play with Rylynne!

Happy New Years!!!!

We can't believe it's already 2011!!! Our New Years celebrations are a little different these days with the girls. We did stay up till midnight to see the ball drop though! haha Joseph and Carrie came over with their boys, Sam and Eli. The kids had a great time!

We had some sparklers. I really though Rylynne may end up being scared of them. But, as you can see from the pictures they were all excited about it! We were afraid someone would end up getting burned! No major accidents to report. Sam saw Shawna start a little fire in the grass so he had to try and Eli ended up with a little mark on his nose. We went through 24 sparklers in about 20 minutes!

The Scharlows' New Years Resolution for 2011: No new babies! haha We had Rylynne in 2009, Sydney in 2010....so we are planning to break the cycle in 2011!

Strickland Christmas 2010

Christmas night we headed to Oma's house for the Strickland's Christmas. We enjoyed time with Oma, my Aunt and Uncle, and cousins!

On our way there the snow really started to fall. We couldn't believe it....A White Christmas!!! By the time we left that night to ground was covered. Shawna got Rylynne started saying "Aww Cool Man!" It was really cute.

Oma has started Rylynne drinking water from shot glasses......I see this being a problem when she gets older! haha

Well let's just say Oma has started ordering things off the TV. She ordered this not realizing how big it was. She thought it was made for inside. Well, the kids loved it anyway! They were all amazed by it!

Swafford Christmas

After playing for a little while with all the new toys it was time to get ready to head to Shawna's parents house for his mom's side of the family Christmas. It started around 1:30 that afternoon. We enjoyed visiting with Shawna's cousins, Aunt and Uncle, and his grandparents! We headed home around 4 to do nap time before our next stop of the day!

Yes, I do like matching their clothes! I figure I should enjoy while I can!

Let's just say Sydney was partied out! She fell asleep about 45 mins after we arrived and did not wake up till we got home later that afternoon!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

Christmas Eve night we had the girls in their matching PJs and I got the milk & brownie ready for Santa! Rylynne helped me clean the table off and put the goodies out for Santa. I reminded her several times that this was for Santa. After we sat the plate down she proceeded to sit at the table, take a few sips of milk, then she looked at Shawna and I with a smile and said "Ho Ho Ho!" It was the funniest thing. We all just started laughing. Her personality keeps us laughing alot!

Christmas morning Santa had come! Sydney was up around 7:30, but Rylynne didn't get up till 9! She was wore out from the day before. I am sure in future years she will be up way before then!

After playing with toys from Santa the 5 of us (Shawna, Ashley, Suzie, Rylynne, & Sydney) exchanged gifts!
Santa brought Rylynne a kitchen, Mickey Train, Minnie shopping cart, a baby doll, and a John Deere tractor. Sydney got a chair, a doll, a couple of stuffed animals, and a toy she was lay down and play with!

I know this is a little blurry, but this was Rylynne running for her toys! That little smile was just too cute!

Me with little Sydney. She didn't really know what to think of Christmas this year. I know next year she will be all excited too!

When Rylynne went running for her toys, this was the first thing she picked up....the John Deere Tractor! Shawna was proud!
