Last Friday, December 30, Sydney had her EEG. The results came back today as NORMAL!
Since the last update I gave on her, she had some other little “spells” take place. One morning after getting her up, her whole body started shaking, she pulled her hands to her face, and was real stiff. In total, it lasted a couple of minutes. Then Christmas Day, she was looking at her toys from Santa when we noticed her shaking. That time it only lasted about 10 seconds. But, since the EEG results are normal we aren't real sure what was going on. Possible immature nervous system?
We do have an appointment with a neurologist the end of February. At this point we will watch her close and see if she has anymore weird “spells”. We will just pray that nothing else happens, and will just be considered a mystery. As I said before, she likes keeping us on our toes (and on our knees praying!). Otherwise, she is a happy, healthy, into EVERYTHING, normal toddler!
