Wyatt 8 Months...Our Growng Little Man!

OK....Yes I'm behind!!!!! Wyatt is now 8 months old!!! (soon to be 9 months!) He's crawling EVERYWHERE, pulling up & trying to let go some (but he's still got a while before he's standing on his own, he's just determined!), getting into everything, emptying out Suzie's water daily, unrolling the toilet paper, fell head first into the (empty) bath tub, & rolled off the bed! He loves playing with his sisters, loves playing with balls, swimming, pushing around little cars, splashing in the tub, eating puffs, trying new foods, and chewing on everything! He has 2 little bottom teeth, a head full of white blonde hair, and pretty little blue eyes. He laughs & smiles all the time, tries to say Uh-oh...but only gets the Uh out so far.

We know he's allergic to eggs, milk, & soy so far. He's broken out in hives a few times...head to toe a couple of those times! So we are careful with trying new things for now. We've also been dealing with fluid on the ears & ear infections. Tubes may be in his near future...we are giving his ears a few weeks to see what they do.

He's just growing TOO fast. He's a mama's boy and doesn't like for me to go far. He's a snuggler when he's tired and just an all around happy baby!

Wyatt's Room!

Wyatt is now 6 months old and I FINALLY got his room completed. Now before you judge let me explain! We have recently moved and were supposed to originally close when Wyatt was only a couple weeks old. That ended up changing and we didn't close till the first of the year but I still didn't want to do a nursery knowing we were moving. After all, he still sleeps with us anyway!

I knew I wanted to do little boy toys as his "theme" but I wanted to find older toys to use in the room. It really turned out cute! So glad he now has a room, but I'm sure he will still sleep in our room for a little while longer!

The chifferobe was my Great Grandfathers
Some of the toys on this shelf have special meaning...The little John Deere tractors on top were my Pa's, the stuffed dog is one my Dad got me when I was little, the plane was my Dad's made by his Uncle in Germany, the little red choo-choo bag was my Mom's, and the wooden train & tractor were mine brought back from Europe from my grandparents.
This was my Papa's wagon when he was a little boy!
The dresser was my Great Grandmothers
So thankful to a friend who passed on her little boy's crib bedding!
Cute valances Grandma made.

Happy 5th Birthday Rylynne!

Rylynne is 5!!!! I just can't believe it! Where has the time gone?!? Everyone says this, but it really does seem like we just had her 1st Birthday!

She is really growing into a little girl. The "baby look" is gone and she reminds us all the time that she is now a big girl! She will start kindergarten this Fall....and I am not ready for that!

A little about Rylynne:

She is so sweet, thoughtful, caring, loving, and I'll admit bossy at times! She loves taking care of Sydney & Wyatt and helping me!

She really has a great imagination and loves to pretend! She loves coloring, playing school, writing her letters, and crafts. She enjoys playing with dolls, Barbie's, & Princesses. I would say if she has a choice she prefers to be outside riding her bike and jumping on the trampoline.

If I want something cleaned up, she's the girl to go to! She likes things to be neat and clean. Example: A couple of weeks ago I told her and Sydney it was time to get their room cleaned up some. I said it didn't have to be perfect, just straightened up. Rylynne's response: "No I want to get it perfect!"

Her favorite princesses right now are Ariel, Rapunzel, Elisa, & Ana.

Favorite movie: Frozen

Favorite Color: Purple & Pink

Favorite Food: Chickfila & Waffle House

This year Rylynne chose to have a Little Mermaid party! She mentioned to me before that she wanted a swimming party. Never did I imagine planning a party at a hotel, but it's actually become a popular place for parties! And I have to admit, it really turned out great! The kids had a GREAT time and the clean up and set up was so easy. This year she had friends from her class at Pre-K & church. She wanted an all girls party (with the exception of Wyatt, Papa, Pawpaw, Uncle Brian, & Nick is what she said!) Here are some pictures from the party.
Grandma & Papa with the Grandbabies!
Yes you are right....Grandma made the cake again! Rylynne kept saying "I Love it!"
