Watching the fireworks....Sydney loved them, Rylynne kept her head buried in Shawna's shoulder 99% of the time! She told Brian as we were leaving that she likes the "sprinklers" (aka sparklers) that he got her, but she didn't like the big fireworks!

Camping Trip #2 with the Girls...SUCCESS!

Almost a year ago, we took the girls on their first camping trip to Pine Mountain. It resulted in Rylynne crying to go home to her "Big Girl Bed!" We have been a little nervous about trying it again, but we decided this weekend to head to High Falls when my Mom and Dad. This time, the girls LOVED it, even bed time! Grandma and Papa bought them new sleeping bags and that helped alot. Rylynne was so excited about sleeping in her new sleeping bag in the camper "Big Girl Bed." They played outside all day and were wore out by the end of the day. Riding tricycles, walking, fishing, sitting by the fire, and just playing outside! I think it's safe to say there will be more camping in our near future!

Oma came down Saturday afternoon too!
Sydney's Fish...she was too busy looking at the fish to smile for the camera.

Rylynne's Baking Party...3 Years Old!!!

We can't believe our little Rylynne is now 3!!! She is growing so fast. We celebrated her birthday with a Baking Party. We had a couple of baking activities for the kids to do while they wore their chef hats & aprons. They each picked their favorite color cookie dough, rolled it out, & used cookie cutters to make their favorite shapes! After the cookies went into the oven, they then decorated their own cupcakes with a variety of sprinkles and other toppings. It really turned out to be a cute party. It was fun seeing Rylynne interact with all her friends! They are at such a cute age. Here are a few photos!

This was taken about 10 secs before she heard an airplane and left to go look for it. haha

Birthday Mail from Mrs. Baker!

Mrs. Baker (aka Gigi Baker) is like a Grandmother to Shawna. She has also taken in our little girls as her own as well. Today Rylynne received a gift from her in the mail. (She lives in Michigan!) 4 hand painted plates with Mickey, Donald, Goofy, & Pluto! They are so cute! Thanks Gigi Baker!

Sydney Update

Hopefully this is the last update I have to do on Sydney's health! Good news following her neurologist appointment yesterday, no more tests, neurologist appointments, etc! She has been doing so good I almost cancelled the appointment, but we felt it was good to at least get our foot in the door. He did tell us that about 1/3 of patients who have a febrile seizure will have another. Praying that Sydney doesn't fall into that percentile! He didn't see any link to the seizure & her randomly being shaky upon waking. Her little body just seems to take longer to get going after she wakes up.

PLUS She has not been in for sick visit since Dec, her reflux appears to be gone, her ears are staying clear...she is just a happy, healthy, and into everything little girl! Thanks for all the prayers for her!

I can't believe she will be 18 months this weekend! It was about this time last year that her reflux was really starting to clear up, then we went into ear infections, then the seizure, so I will admit it has honestly been a long 18 months! We are so thankful to see her doing so well now! She is such a happy baby toddler!
