Beach Time!

This year we headed to St Augustine for a week. We had a 3 bedroom condo shared by Shawna, Rylynne, Grandma, Papa, Nana, Pawpaw, Aunt Leah, and I! Yes, my Dad stayed in a condo and not the camper!!! It's amazing what Grandkids will make you do! We had a great time, well minus the fact that Rylynne didn't sleep too well. I think she missed her bed!

Rylynne was not scared of the ocean at all! She loved the water and the waves. We had to really hold onto her. And the sand.....I don't see how she is related to me. She was covered from head to toe each day. (and even tried a shovel or two to see how it tasted! haha)

Well, Rylynne was up earlier than everyone else, so we tried to entertain her in our room. On this morning she wanted her chair in the bed to watch cartoons.

Last week we went to St Augustine! Mama and I headed out Saturday to meet Shawna's parents and sister. Shawna and Daddy joined us around midnight Tuesday night. On the trip down, Mama and I stopped at McDonalds for lunch. Rylynne kept watching the big kids in the playground. Next thing we new she started climbing up a tunnel. We didn't think she would go far, but before we knew it she was out of sight and on her way to the top! With my pregnant belly I don't bend over quite as easy, so Grandma went to the rescue! Rylynne never got scared. She loved it! Thank goodness Grandma was there to help!

1st Happy Meal!

First of all, I was behind on the blogs so this is my 3rd of the night! So be sure the scroll down to see the others! Today Rylynne had her first Happy Meal from McDonalds! For those who are not aware, we have a VERY picky eater! She still prefers baby food! So this was a risk, but we decided after church to go through the drive-thru. (McDonalds is a big pregnancy craving for me this time!) I told Shawna lets just get her a Happy Meal and see what she thinks. Well, she LOVED it! She ate the chicken nuggets & fries! She was also excited to find a toy in the box! She had to show Suzie what she got! She did share a few fries with her too! haha

July 4th

So I ordered Rylynne a cute outfit for July 4th and Grandma bought her matching Red, White, & Blue flip-flops. She was going to be so cute at church and at Shawna's family cookout. BUT, a few days before the 4th she ended up with Hand Foot & Mouth disease! It was horrible. The poor baby was miserable! She was getting better by July 4th, but she was still not ready for church or being around other kids. So, we went to my mom & dads and grilled out Hambugers. I still put her outfit on her anyway. She was happy playing the piano with her Great Oma and riding the golf cart with Papa.

Shawna had some free time a couple of weekends ago so we headed to the pool! Rylynne was ready to show her Daddy how much she loved the water. She is so funny in the pool. She doesn't mind going under, getting water in her eyes, etc. She is our little water bug!
